Can the rot be cured?

If the wood is infected with dry rot then it would be best to apply our Restore-it epoxy sealer over it. It is quite simple to apply as well. All you need to do is mix equal halves of A and B solvent. Before applying the mixture it would be best to remove the loose wood with the help of a wire brush. After that just keep on applying the wood epoxy till the wood cannot absorb any more of it.

How to refigure a deformed wood?

If you do not sort the dry rot problem soon then the wood would get deformed. In such cases either you would have to remove the wood completely or use another one of our wood epoxy products. In such cases it would be best to use Restore-it epoxy filler. The filler comes in two packets as well. These have different color, which would help you in mixing. Use equal amounts of these and then continue mixing. Once the mixture has a thorough color this means that the mixture is perfectly mixed. You need to make sure that before applying you remove any lose wood piece. After applying it would be best that you keep it in mind that you would not be able to remove it once it dries out. If you think that the surface is not smooth then you can simply use an ordinary sand paper. Painting over such surfaces is easy as well, the fix is so solid that it is quite drill able. Once fixed it would be as hard as any other brick wall.
